Bust a Champion, Win a Main Event Seat
Most players who bust a Main Event champion are happy enough walking away with a story, but players who do so in the first event of the series will win a $10,000 Main Event seat of their own.
The new event, the Champions Reunion No-Limit Hold'em Freezeout (8-Handed), will kick off the summer and offers free entry to all living Main Event champions. That means anyone who puts up the $5,000 buy-in will have a chance to play with the likes of Phil Hellmuth, Johnny Chan, Tom McEvoy, Scotty Nguyen, Jamie Gold, Koray Aldemir, Espen Jorstad, Hossein Ensan, Damian Salas and reigning championDaniel Weinman.
A PokerNews Championship & Daily DeepStack Promotions
Those of us at PokerNews couldn't be more excited for the PokerNews DeepStack Championship, a $600 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em event that will get underway on June 25.
In addition to being part of the first-ever PokerNews-sponsored bracelet event. PokerNews will provide coverage of the $200, $250 and $400 Daily Deepstacks, which will give players a chance to climb up weekly leaderboards that will award seats to the PokerNews DeepStack Championship to the weekly top ten point earners.
Celebrate Independence Day With A Bracelet
What better way to celebrate Independence Day in the Nevada desert than by winning a bracelet? The Independence Day Celebration No-Limit Hold'em event gives players a chance to do so at the price of $800.
The three-day event gets underway on July 3 and will feature two starting flights with one re-entry allowed per flight.
How to Decide What WSOP Event to Play
$3,000 Mid-Stakes Championship
Everyone wants a shot to win a poker championship, but not all players are able to put up a $10,000 or $25,000 buy-in. Thankfully, the Mid-Stakes Championship No-Limit Hold'em gives grinders the opportunity to win a championship title for $3,000.
The Mid-Stakes Championship gets underway on July 11, giving players who bust out of the Main Event another chance at reaching poker glory.
Four-Card Mystery Bounty
The WSOP made a splash a few years ago when they tried out the Mystery Bounty format, which became an instant hit and produced million-dollar bounty winners including Matt Glantz, Patrick Liang and Shant Marashlian. Now, Omaha players can get in on the Mystery Bounty fun with the $1,000 buy-in Mystery Bounty Pot-Limit Omaha event on July 9.

First Big O Championship
Players who prefer five cards should look into the Big O Championship (Five Card PLO Hi-Lo 8 or Better), a $10,000 buy-in event that will produce the first-ever WSOP Big O champion.
The first WSOP Big O event took place last summer with Event #41: $1,500 Big O. It was a resounding success with 1,458 players and a prize pool of nearly $2 million as Scott Abrams won the inaugural event for $315,203.

Double Board Bomb Pot Bracelet Event
Another event making its debut at the 2024 WSOP may prove to be one of the most interesting of the entire summer. The $1,500 buy-in Mixed No-Limit Hold'em; Pot-Limit Omaha Double Board Bomb Pot event will put players, dealers and poker reporters to the test as they keep track of two different boards in the Hold'em-Omaha hybrid.
The first-of-its-kind eight-handed event draws influence from cash game bomb pots where each player puts in a set amount and sees a flop made popular by poker streams. It will no doubt be an exciting event as it gets underway on June 15.

Seniors High Roller
For the first time, the WSOP will offer a Seniors High Roller No-Limit Hold'em event for players ages 50 and older.
The $5,000 buy-in event is one of several this year exclusively for seniors, joining the $1,000 buy-in Seniors No-Limit Hold'em Championship and the Super Seniors No-Limit Hold'em event for players ages 60 and older.
