Mixed Game Festival VII in Las Vegas This Month to Award NAPT Package
CardPlayer Lifestyle will be holding its seventh Mixed Game Festival in Las Vegas later this month, giving low-stakes poker players an opportunity to explore new poker variants and trade pots with poker legends.
The Mixed Game Festival VII will take place Feb. 25-29 at Resorts World Las Vegas, one of the premier poker rooms in Sin City.
Resorts World Poker Room is very happy to welcome back Cardplayer Lifestyles Mixed Game Festival once again," Leon Wheeler, Director of Poker Operations at Resorts World Las Vegas, said in a written statement. "Our first class dealers are excited for mixed game players to fill our room for an engaging fun-filled week of exhilarating dealers choice play."

The festival will feature two mixed game tournaments, kicking off with a $300 buy-in Omaha 8/Stud 8 tournament on Feb. 26 before a H.E.R.O.S. tournament on Feb. 29 that will serve as a grand finale.
In addition to the lion's share of the tournament prize pool, the winner of the H.E.R.O.S. event will be gifted a $3,000 North American Poker Tour (NAPT) package that includes:
There will be $4/$8 and $8/$16 games running and higher stakes available upon request, with all sorts of Stud, Omaha and draw variants in the mix.

As always, the Mixed Game Festival will give players a chance to sit down with some of poker's best and brightest.
CardPlayer Lifestyle founder Robbie Strazynski told PokerNews that those attending the festival will include Justin Saliba, Andrew Yeh, Scott Abrams, Nathan Gamble, Kevin Gerhart, Women in Poker Hall of Famer Lupe Soto and Poker Hall of Famer Eli Elezra.
Like Mixed Game Festivals in the past, the upcoming festival will feature a Pizza Party, Poker Trivia competition and opportunities to win prizes at the tables.
On "Women's Wednesday," the festival will feature a special morning program hosted by Poker Hall of Famer Linda Johnson and Women in Poker Hall of Fame Jan Fisher. The program, in partnership with the Ladies International Poker Series (LIPS), will begin with an overview of Razz and Omaha 8 before a break out table session and a micro cash game practice.
Strazynski said he is particularly excited for the Women's Wednesday program "bcause you've got two of the game's finest ambassadors teaching more people how to play, thus organically growing mixed games."
"I'm hopeful that participants in the Women's Wednesday program quickly develop a love for non-Hold'em variants and then make it a point to attend more of our festivals in the future," he said.
PokerNews was in attendance of the sixth annual Mixed Game Festival last November playing with the likes of Elezra, Johnson and John Cernuto and will likely be mixing it up again at the upcoming festival.
